Northwest Community Group is committed to advocating for the well-being of residents at Musgrave Park. Unfortunately, we face ongoing challenges regarding basic amenities. Frequent lighting outages and a lack of proper bins create unnecessary difficulties for those living there.
Beyond Inconvenience: A Deeper Concern:
These issues go beyond mere inconvenience. We suspect a deeper concern – an administrative approach that seems to prioritize pushing residents out rather than providing them with the support they deserve. A recently discovered internal communication referring to residents as "campers" who need to be "moved on" reinforces this suspicion.
Unintended Consequences:
The lack of bins not only impacts residents but also confuses park users and creates a sanitation issue for everyone. Service providers who assist the park's population also generate waste that has nowhere to go.
