Donation Do's and Don'ts: Let's Keep Donations Useful!

With spring cleaning season upon us, we wanted to take a moment to remind everyone about our donation guidelines. This helps us ensure your generous contributions reach those who need them most.

What We Can Accept:

  • Clean, Washed Clothing: Imagine passing this item on to a loved one. Is it in good, wearable condition?

  • Clean Footwear: Shoes should be free of damage and wearable.

What We Cannot Accept:

  • Household Items & Appliances: Unfortunately, we lack the space to store these items.

  • Electronics (without remotes/cables): Incomplete electronics are unusable.

  • Décor Items: While lovely, pictures, frames, etc. aren't in high demand.

  • Kitchenware: Pots, pans, and utensils are generally not needed.

  • Dirty or Damaged Items: Respect our volunteers' time – please donate clean, usable items.

  • Seasonal Clothing: With limited storage, we prioritize items suitable for the current season. (We have plenty of winter clothes right now!)

Helping Us Help Others:

By following these guidelines, you make a significant difference! Our volunteers can focus on sorting high-quality donations, and we can maximize our impact on the community.

A Gentle Reminder:

While we haven't included a picture (you're welcome!), kindly refrain from donating used personal hygiene items.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support! Together, we can make a difference!
